Many of us in the careers industry have needed to pause for emphasis when asked by job seekers why their posted resume doesn’t produce results.

Consider this: one statistic cites 40,000 new resumes posted to Monster.com per day. As more job seekers try to “see what’s out there” in our somewhat revitalized economy, the competition gets stiffer every day.
